Amazon.in climbed to the top of BARC’S Top 10 Brands Across Genres for Week 19 (May 6–12) of 2017’s viewership and ad insertions with 21,668 insertions.
Dettol Toilet Soaps slipped from the previously-held first spot to the second spot with 10,989 insertions. Videocon D2H rose to the third spot from the previously held fourth spot with 8,816 insertions. Airtel Cellular Phone Service slipped to the fourth spot with 8,772 insertions.
Make in India, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus, Vimal Elaichi Pan Masala, Caprese Bags, and Pet Saffa entered the list at the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth spots with 8,768, 7,785, 7,311, 7,012 and 6,685 insertions, respectively.
Reliance Trends slipped to the tenth spot with 6,294 insertions.
In the Top 10 Advertiser list, Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser (India) continued to retain the top two spots with 97,974 and 72,717 insertions, respectively.
Amazon Online India entered the list at the third spot with 21,728 insertions.
Cadburys climbed up to the fourth spot with 20,875 insertions. Patanjali Ayurved retained its fifth spot with 20,376 insertions. Coca Cola slipped from the previously-held fourth position to the sixth spot with 17,772 insertions.
Colgate Palmolive India moved up to the seventh spot with 17,451 insertions.
Emami was another new entrant in the list at the eighth spot with 15,806 insertions.
Brooke Bond Lipton India slipped drastically from its previously-held third position to the ninth spot with 15,791 insertions.
Jyothy Laboratories entered the list at the tenth spot with 15,307 insertions.
